Shades of Nine is a long, cozy garter-stitch wrap that flows through all nine shades of a gradient bundle. It starts in deep green at the center, fades to the palest mint at each pointed end, and finishes with chunky tassels in the darkest shade.

It’s worked center-out from a provisional cast-on, so there are no seams and the two halves mirror each other perfectly. And the best part? No rows to count for the color changes — just knit each shade until it’s gone. Rhythmic, relaxing knitting with a beautiful payoff, and a perfect first gradient project.
